Trade operations consulting organizes products, flows, entities, documents, actors, systems, controls, and objectives before an implementation plan is accepted. It does not pre-judge a legal, tax, tariff, sanctions, or regulatory conclusion without the necessary facts and qualified reviewer.

What the scope may include

• Current-state assessment. Products, lanes, actors, data, documents, controls, exceptions, and observed operating problems.
• Findings and remediation. Prioritized actions, owners, dependencies, and evidence requirements without promising that an audit, penalty, delay, or other event will be avoided.
• Trade criteria coordination. Classification, valuation, origin, USMCA/T-MEC, export-control, sanctions, and other requirements routed to the appropriate specialist when they enter the scope.
• Launch or change design. A plan for a new supplier, product, route, market, program, importer setup, or operating transition.
• Implementation roadmap. Workstreams, deliverables, controls, decision owners, evidence, and escalation needed to make the design operational.

How the work is delivered

The proposal defines the deliverable. It may include an assessment, requirements matrix, risk map, operating model, work plan, responsibility map, and evidence register. If Baranta also coordinates implementation, that role is described separately from advisory or regulated decisions.

Boundary with Lexnova and other specialists

Baranta focuses on operating design and coordination. When a matter requires a formal legal position, representation, tax conclusion, licensed customs role, engineering decision, or another regulated service, the engagement identifies Lexnova in Mexico or the appropriate independently retained professional under a separate scope.
